Terms & Conditions

How to Book

Fill out online application form and send your deposit of 300 euros (all programs). The deposit is non-refundable and forms part of your final payment, which is due 30 days prior to departure. If you would like to request after arrival payment there is a 50 euros surcharge otherwise we reserve the right to cancel your booking. All prices quoted are in Euros. We use Currency Converter (PUT WEB LINK) for all conversion rates.

Included in Quoted Trip Prices

Accommodation if requested is based on single occupancy (inquire about double rooms); meals as indicated in each itinerary; local value added taxes, classes and/or courses as indicated on itinerary, entrance fees to included events as indicated on program description, medical and accident insurance, airport transfers, bilingual coordinator onsite. Not Included in Quoted Trip Prices

Airfare to and from the trip (your international flight itinerary must be sent to Best CulTours at least 3 weeks prior to your arrival to assure your transfer); local transportation, robbery and trip cancellation insurance, cost of obtaining passports; arrival and departure airport and government taxes; sightseeing, meals not included in the itinerary or listed as optional; items of personal nature; communication costs, etc.

Trip Cancellation Policy

If you wish to cancel a trip, you must notify us in writing. For all trips the following cancellation penalties will apply:

Cancellation prior to 30 days before starting the program entitles you to a 100% refund, less the deposit fee.
Cancellation 15 - 30 days prior to starting the program entitles you to 50% refund.
Cancellation 0 - 15 days prior to your expected arrival does not entitle you to any refund (0%). Neither do we refund if cancellation occurs after arrival.

In case that we have to cancel a trip for any reason, another tour will be offered. If the alternative tour is not accepted, we will refund all the monies paid by you to us with the exception of 150 euros handling fee. You will not be entitled to make any further claim for any injury, loss, expenses or damage or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation. Best CulTours cannot assume responsibility for any additional costs or fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other travel arrangements. Refunds will not be made for any missed trip services.

Published Prices

Prices on the website are based on the current rates of exchange and tariffs as of September 2006 and valid for the period September 2006 - December 2007. In the event of a significant change in foreign exchange rates and/or tariff rates, we reserve the right to increase the quoted price up to the day of departure up to 7% of the total cost of the trip. In the event of a price increase greater than 7%, the traveller shall be notified and has the option of a full refund. If, after departure, additional expenses are incurred through delay, accident or disruption of advertised schedules beyond our control, such expense must be borne by the traveller.

Itinerary Changes

Best CulTours reserves the right to change the date of commencement or to make changes to the itinerary whenever we deem it necessary for the comfort, convenience or safety of the trip participants, and to cancel a trip at any time. Should we have to postpone, we will not be liable for any form of refund whatsoever, although everything will be done to complete the planned itinerary.

Customized Itineraries

Any Best CulTour program that is not listed on our website is subject to all terms and conditions as listed on this page.

Standards Abroad

Please note that there may be different living standards and conditions with respect to the provision of utilities, services and accommodation outside of North America.

Health Considerations

To enjoy a trip to the fullest possible extent, you should be in good physical and mental condition. On advancement of a deposit, you certify that you do not have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard to yourself or to other travellers. It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to check if any vaccination or other medical precautions are required. We reserve the right to decline accepting or retaining any traveller whose health or actions may impede the operation of a trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow trip members.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you obtain extra travel insurance, including trip cancellation insurance, and robbery insurance.

Passports and Other Documents

It is the sole responsibility of the traveller to be in possession of a valid passport. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after you return back home.

Photos and Images

On each tour, Best CulTours or our representatives may take photographs or make film records for promotional use.

Airline Responsibility

This brochure in not issued on behalf of and does not commit any airline whose services are used in the course of our trips.

Responsibility, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability

Best CulTours acts solely as agent between the travellers and local tour operators and suppliers for providing services described in the itineraries. Best CulTours will not assume responsibility for any claims, damages or expenses arising from (1) the act, omission, or negligence of any travel service supplier, whose product or service the travellers purchase, (2) any other event.

The travellers acknowledge that travel to foreign countries may involve numerous risks and dangers. The travellers agree to be responsible for their own welfare, and accept any and all risks, including, but not limited to, risks of delay, unanticipated events, illness, injury, emotional trauma, or death.

The travellers release and discharge Best CulTours, its owners, directors, officers, agents, and employees from and against any and all liability arising from travellers´ participation in the trips. This release of liability will be legally binding upon the travellers, all minors travelling with them, travellers´ heirs, family members, successors, assigns, and legal representatives.

The Responsibility, Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability clause will also apply to travellers´ trips and trip extensions that travellers may enrol for or switch to at a later date.

By paying a deposit and enrolling on a trip the traveller agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set forth above.
