We are currently processing applications Winter, 2010.
Update: BEST is recruiting interns for the winter, 2010 semester for Business Experience Program which provides paid work experience placements in Madrid, Spain. Graduates and young professionals can gain international business experience through semester and academic year internship placements in Madrid which will cover your costs.
Instead of just visiting, as a tourist, you will be living and working in Spain -- there is really no other way to truly learn the language and the culture.
If you are curious and adventurous then pack your bags. Short-term work abroad Internships focus on preparing students for working in an international environment either in the language training field (ESL and EFL) or in the field of their area of study: General Education, Business Administration, International Relations, Marketing, Economics, Political Science...
Complementing the work experience, all interns participate in a training program focused on developing an excellent competitive edge in the job market for those who aspire to working in an international environment in general.
Living in Spain will give you international exposure on your resume, Spanish language and that extra edge for landing the job you seek and desire when the moment arrives.
ESL and EFL Interns receive group training sessions on education for adult learners. The program covers areas such as level testing, methodology, progress assessment, material development, distance learning, and new technologies applied to language education.
Interns in areas other than EFL will be assigned a Senior Tutor who acts as a coach and mentor. Senior Tutors provide pedagogical support and guide the intern through their tasks in the international project (Recruitment, Marketing, Product Development) to which they are assigned.
Certification: Upon completion of the internship, the intern receives a certificate that documents:
- Nº of training hours received in ESL training specialised in adult education.
- Nº of ESL training hours given. Maximum of 600 hours.
- Certificate of international project participation.
