Description:BEST's will arrange for you to obtain work experience in your professional field in one of Belgium's many non-profit organizations. You will perfect your French while you begin to build your career - and make a difference socially! First we will prep you in our 4-week intensive orientation French course. You will acquire a strong basis and become accustomed to Belgium. These classes commence the first Monday of every month in our centrally-located, full-equipped language school. Your schedule will give you time to participate in the optional organized cultural, sport and social activities with students from all over the world. Following the language course, you will begin your part-time (4 hours/daily) volunteer internship in one of the divisions of a humanitarian organization such as: press department, logistics, projects, legal, fund raising, volunteer recruitment, psychology, documentation, communications, marketing, etc. Placements are available in all types of NGOs dealing in areas such as: women’s issues, environment, immigration, children, human rights, development, animals, older adults, etc. Highlights:
